Two childhood friends, one licence.
We met in Primary 5 at Fuhua Primary School in 2003. Both of us are Singaporean-Burmese: born in Myanmar, raised here, at home in both languages and both cultures. Twenty-odd years later we started Shwe Match because the families we knew kept having the same problem: a helper who was capable, an employer who meant well, and nobody in the middle who could say the small things in the right language before they became big things.

Tate Aung · Co-founder
Builds the software: the cost calculators, the WhatsApp helpline, and the household preference file that keeps a helper from being told the same thing twice.
Software engineer by trade; previously built services for a Singapore public agency.
May Moe Thu · Co-founder and Data Protection Officer
Fully fluent in written and spoken Burmese. Every Burmese message that leaves this company is hers to check. Runs the candidate and employer conversations and the check-ins.
Trained as a chemical engineer (NUS, NTU); a decade in regulated quality systems, which is why the paperwork here is done properly.
What we are
SHWE MATCH PTE. LTD. (UEN 202557658K), incorporated in Singapore in December 2025, is an employment agency licensed by the Ministry of Manpower under EA licence 26C3625. You can verify the licence on MOM's public Employment Agencies Directory, which also publishes every agency's placement volume and retention rate.
What we charge, and what we do not
One flat agency fee: S$888 for a new hire, S$588 for a transfer, no GST. Lodging and transport at what they cost. We take nothing from the helper. We earn no commission on insurance, and we will say so on this site before that ever changes.
